Premium Category

The Premium Category screen stores the codes used to track premium pay earned by employees.

Examples of premium categories include overtime, shift differential, weekend pay, or holiday pay.

The Pay Code Premiums screen displays the related pay code overrides for each pay code when differentials are to be applied. For example, for a Regular pay code; this screen displays the related pay code to assign to employees if calculations determine that overtime, weekend, shift, or holiday differential should be paid.

For more information, see the Configuration > Time and Attendance > Pay Code > Premiums.
